If you have not already done so, before you begin this unit, you need to ensure that you have a Blog set up to record and publish your work.

The Site:

Please use Global2 to create a Blog. There is a link on the left hand side of the page to get your blog started.

You can set the Blog design in whatever style you like, but it must be readable by your teacher and by the public. Please remember that all work on your Blog is published LIVE to the web, and can be read by anyone (including your parents, friends, relatives and absolute strangers). Always try to ensure that your Blog is respectful, clear and well presented.

Username:

Your Blog should not identify you in the title. We would like to you use the the following schema for your blog username:

SJE {First name} {First initial of Surname}

So, if your name was John Brown, your username would be SJEJOHNB (if there is already a John Brown registered, use SJEJOHNB2).

Domain Name

Leave this the same as your Username
MAKE SURE YOU SAVE YOUR PASSWORD SOMEWHERE!

Blog Title

This Blog is going to be used for your Religion work, so choose a name for your Blog that is clear and easily understood (Something like "Sharon's RE BLOG" will be fine!).

Customise

Once you have the Blog set up, you can customise the design and the theme. Remember to choose an option that is easy to read and navigate.

BLOG POST 1

To get started, you need to leave your first post. In this post, tell your Blog Readers a little bit about yourself. Make sure you don't say anything that strangers can use to identify or find you in the real world (eg. your address, surname, the name of your Footy or Netball Team). Make sure you post is interesting and true! It would be good to include a comment explaining that this Blog will be used for your classwork in Religion throughout the year.
